Stan says:

The War of 1812 began on June 18, 1812 when President James Madison declared war on Britain. Two years after the war began on the 24th August 1812, the British troops burned the city that was home to about 8,000 citizens, burning down of the Whitehouse in Washington (now Washington, D.C.), the capital of the United States.

It all took place because of the British, but not before the officers walked into the Whitehouse, ate the food which had been prepared for President Madison, and after supper set the place alight.

This was during the Chesapeake Campaign of the War of 1812.

Up to that point, it was the greatest embarrassment and the story the British love to recant.

It has now been dwarfed by President Biden. The American Forces Commander in Chief and his actions in Afghanistan. Col. Richard Kemp,  and the British Forces Commander in Afghanistan has called for Biden to be Court Marshalled.

How times have changed.

It’s Tuesday and we will be LIVE Tonight at 7:15 PM – Don’t miss it.
