VINDICATED: Only the Voice of Wales Published the Truth
Editorial by Stan Robinson, Voice of Wales
The recent events at Manchester Airport have once again shown the pernicious role of the mainstream media (MSM) and the cowardice of our politicians. While the MSM and politicians rushed to condemn the actions of the police, only the Voice of Wales dared to publish the truth about the violent thugs and the deceitful Islamist lawyer involved.
Last week, horrifying footage of a police officer kicking 19-year-old Muhammed Fahir at Manchester Airport sparked outrage and accusations of racism and police brutality. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) was thrust into crisis, with the officer suspended and under criminal investigation for assault. The MSM and politicians lined up to vilify the police, fuelling protests and unrest.
However, new CCTV footage has revealed a different story. Just seconds before the officer’s actions, Fahir attacked three officers, breaking the nose of a female officer and putting another in a chokehold. This evidence shows the officer acted in self-defence and to protect his colleagues.
Despite this new evidence, the Greater Manchester Police Federation and other police representatives continue to be outraged at the treatment of their colleagues. Richard Cooke, chairman of the West Midlands Police Federation, rightly pointed out that officers are repeatedly assaulted, poorly paid, and unfairly criticised by those who do not understand the risks they face daily.
The response from the officer’s colleagues has been telling. Refusing to carry their weapons in solidarity, they have shown their anger and disbelief at how this situation has been handled. The suspended officer, at the moment he kicked Fahir, was disoriented from being punched in the face and feared his gun had been taken.
The controversial TikTok lawyer representing Fahir and his brother has dropped the case, acknowledging the new footage and the unfair attention brought upon GMP and the family. Yet, he continues to spew hypocritical rhetoric against the police.
This incident underscores the failure of our politicians and the MSM. Greater Manchester’s Mayor, Andy Burnham, has belatedly called for calm and context, but where was this balanced approach when the MSM was fuelling the flames of discord? Former officials like Kevin Hurley and ex-armed response officers are right to condemn the cowardice of those who pander to mob rule rather than support our protectors.
The footage shows the brutal reality of what officers face. It’s a disgrace that our politicians and media chose to attack the very people who put their lives on the line for our safety. The Chief Constable of GMP must resign for allowing this travesty to unfold. The Voice of Wales stands vindicated, having been the only outlet brave enough to publish the truth from the beginning.
Our message is clear: protect the protectors. Stand by those who risk their lives daily. We will not be silenced by the cowardly attacks of the MSM and the politicians who lack the backbone to stand up for justice.
