The Treasury’s proposal to solve the UK’s dwindling workforce through mass immigration is a delusion. This reckless ‘open-door’ approach ignores economic realities, fails to protect British citizens, and brings catastrophic social consequences.
The assumption that increasing the population automatically leads to economic growth is misguided. The 2018 Migration Advisory Committee report confirmed that there is no evidence that low-skilled migration improves productivity. In fact, it results in wage suppression and strains on housing and threatens to collapse our already overstretched public services. Net migration of 606,000 in 2022 alone has accelerated the burden, with the NHS crumbling under the strain, catering not only to an ageing population but also to an influx of migrants who contribute little but demand much. The Labour government’s response? Abandoning the elderly by cutting their Winter Fuel Allowance and hoping for a brutal winter to reduce the numbers.
Economic Burden and Health Risks:
Low-skilled immigration has only drained the UK’s resources. According to a 2014 report, non-EEA migrants alone cost the economy £118 billion between 1995 and 2011. This influx of people is driving up housing prices and rents, forcing British citizens out of their own communities. A 2019 House of Lords report highlights that immigration has driven demand for housing, which far outpaces supply.
Moreover, the health risks are undeniable. Mass immigration has introduced diseases such as HIV and tuberculosis, placing a tremendous burden on the NHS. Unscreened migrants bring health crises into the country, and many rely on welfare immediately upon arrival, adding further strain to public services.
The Immigration Myth:
Claims that immigration will fix the UK’s ageing population problems are unfounded. These migrants will also age and place further strain on public services, creating an unsustainable cycle where more and more immigration is required to prop up an overburdened system. A 2016 Bank of England report clearly stated that while immigration increases GDP, it does not translate into better living standards for British citizens. Wages are driven down, and competition for jobs and housing intensifies.
The UK needs a stringent, selective immigration policy to protect its citizens. Here’s what must be done:
1. Skills-Based Entry: Prioritise skilled workers for critical sectors like healthcare and technology. Implement a points-based system like Australia’s to ensure only those with high skills and qualifications are allowed in.
2. IQ, Health, and Welfare Restrictions: Immigrants must pass an IQ test of 99+ and undergo strict health checks to eliminate those with lifelong illnesses such as HIV or tuberculosis Welfare reliance must be restricted for at least five years, ensuring that immigrants contribute economically before they can draw from the system.
3. Mandatory Cultural and Language Integration: Immigrants must integrate into British society by proving English proficiency and adapting to British values. Those unwilling to integrate should not be allowed to remain, as failure to do so has already fractured communities and fostered division.
The Treasury’s mass immigration solution is a grave threat to the UK. The data is irrefutable: unselective immigration is overwhelming public services, driving up housing costs, and depressing wages. Britain needs a strict, controlled immigration policy that prioritises IQ, health, skills, and integration. The UK must protect its borders and safeguard the future of its citizens.
ANYTHING LESS IS NATIONAL SUICIDE.
