Labour peer, Baroness Morgan has been banned from driving for six months. Morgan, pleaded guilty to speeding on a 30 mph road in Wrexham. The health minister had accrued too many points on her licence. Morgan stated she had pleaded guilty and accepted the court’s decision.
“This is not something I am proud of and I apologise unreservedly.” The Labour Senedd member for Mid and West Wales was disqualified on Wednesday at a hearing in Mold Magistrates court.
This comes as trials introducing 20mph zones are being rolled out across parts of Wales.
Eluned Morgan was appointed Minister for Health and Social Services on 13 May 2021.
Morgan served as the Shadow Minister for Wales in the House of Lords, and from 2014-2016 she served as Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs. She was granted a peerage in 2011 and is formally known as Baroness Morgan of Ely.

Not that I’m gloating of course!
This Baroness must resign her Health role. Not because of her speeding but the inability to do her job.
You cannot as a Health Minister work remotely and if you cannot without extra burden on the taxpayer she should fall on her sword
I agree. Not only is she wreck less here. She is jepodising the life’s of many children by authorising the Jab. Manslaighter will be next for her.
